Saving Our Homeless, founded by Benjamin Jackson, is a project intended to bring the good news of our Lord and Savior to our homeless and get them on their feet and off the streets.  Benjamin grew up in a single mom home.  Since his birth, Benjamin's mother lived with a horrible illness and was forced in and out of the hospital for months at a time partaking in chemotherapy, dialysis treatments and various surgeries.  Even on the day she passed, you could see her love for God and helping others. 

"Despite battling a horrible illness and going through terrible treatments, my mother stayed faithful to God and helped save so many lives.  Before she died, she founded and organized support groups for others facing similar diseases, brought people to hear the good word of God, wrote beautiful poems and inspirational letters for others and did her best to raise 3 children through an immense amount of pain with very little time, money and energy.   Briefly being homeless myself at one point in my life and overcoming so many different struggles and adversities has brought me to realize that there truly is a reason and a purpose for us in this life.   After much "worldly" success I have still to this day found no other accomplishment more worthwile then making a difference in someone's life.  I encourage you to join me in this project and give help to those who desperately need it.  This project is dedicated to my mother Becky.  Thank you mom, for choosing to give me life  and all you did to help make me who I am today..."

     Our team and the volunteers who help make all this possible hope to create a better tomorrow for so many by truly making a difference.  Every day is another chance to touch someone's life and show them the light in the midst of darkness.  Being homeless is a scary situation, but people in such a difficult time can be helped and can be saved.  It takes people like you who want to help to make sacrifices with their time and money to help those in need and help push them in the right direction.  Our goal is to help our homeless in America grow spiritually, overcome addictions or failure, find permenant shelter and better their lives so that they are much less likely to be back in this situation.  Every day we will work to building a team so large in numbers that every major city has representatives standing by to guide those in need to find food, shelter, education, work opportunities and most importantly...God. 

By providing hundreds of others who care an opportunity to access the tools they need to truly make a difference, we hope that we are able to reach thousands of lives that wouldn't have been able to hear the good news or receive assistance. We hope that you will join our team and do your part in helping to change the lives of so many!
